Merlin arrived in Pakistan within 24 hours of the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and has been on the frontline ever since, responding to emergencies and developing the country’s health system to ensure people have access to the care they need.
When the catastrophic floods hit Pakistan in 2010 and again in 2011, Merlin was one of the first to respond, scaling up its work in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and expanding into Sindh and Punjab.
Today, Merlin is providing health care and nutrition to more than three million people, including many in hard-to-reach, remote locations.
Working closely with the Ministry of Health we are rehabilitating clinics, training health workers and providing life-saving health care.
